The successful candidate will have 1) exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, 2) the ability to complete tasks under tight deadlines, 3) outstanding organization and problem solving skills, and 4) the ability to work effectively with all levels of management.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Revenue Related (80%)

· Own all finance aspects of Sales, Revenue and Cost of Revenue

· Serve as the primary revenue recognition person for our US operations including VSOE and other technical revenue accounting issues

· Review incoming Sales Orders and Upload into Epicor system

· Manage Processing of Customer Invoices for Product, Service, and Rentals

· Maintain Deferred Revenue contracts and amortization

· Maintain Backlog Information

 General Accounting Related (20%)

· Support month and year end close tasks related to revenue and cost of revenue

· Maintain schedules of deferred revenue

· Complete month and year-end close tasks with US GAAP

· Interface with external accountants regarding revenue issues

· Ad hoc projects

 

Qualifications

· 5+ years of experience in accounting with an emphasis on revenue recognition

· Working knowledge of Epicor (or other mid-tier accounting software)

· Excellent communication skills

· Strong working knowledge of Excel and related software

· Detail-oriented, dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple, changing priorities

· Positive “can do” attitude; willing to do whatever it takes to help the department run smoothly and efficiently

· Undergraduate Degree in Accounting of Finance preferred

 

Salary depending on experience. The compensation package will include stock options, health, dental, vision, life insurance, long & short term disability, 401k, and a Section 125 plan.
