Accounting and finance firm seeks an experienced Revenue Recognition Manager. Qualified candidates will have hands on corporate and/or public accounting experience with expertise in the following areas:

 

 

Responsibilities

· Contract review to ensure compliance with SOP 97-2 and related pronouncements.

· Manage revenue recognition policies and processes in accordance with relevant accounting literature and corporate policy and ensure consistent application.

· Monthly close for revenue, revenue reporting, reconciliations and analysis. Must be able to calculate and analyze VSOE for the Company’s products.

· Prepare global revenue and deferred revenue reports to support internal and external reporting requirements.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.

· A minimum of 5 years of public/private accounting and operations experience CPA and/or MBA a plus.

· Prepare global revenue and deferred revenue reports to support internal and external reporting requirements.

· SOX 404 experience a plus.

· SOP 97-2/SAB 101 experience definitely a plus

· Revenue recognition and order management systems experience (Oracle 11i a plus).

· Experience with reviewing, and analyzing revenue contracts and relation documentation.

· Strong oral and written communication skills.

· Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
