Risk Analyst - Accounting

Reporting to the controller, perform technical and administrative functions as part of the process of measuring and reporting risk and the results of risk management activities. Perfor risk management middle office duties, implement and maintain risk management tools and ensure accounting and disclosures with respect to hedging and risk management activities in accordance with GAAP.  The successful candidate will have a financial background and strong analytical, technical and mathematical aptitude. 

 

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or accounting and five years experience in accounting, finance or commodity trading is required. Energy industry experience and CPA are preferred, but not required.  Previous experience in energy risk management or hedge/derivative accounting is a plus.
