SEC Accountant "Senior

***SEC reporting exp required***

 

Responsible for and develops required SEC reporting. Prepares and adjusts financial statements, footnote disclosures, and supporting schedules. Maintains supporting documentation for review and audit. Drafting 10-Q's, 10-K's and other required SEC filings. Prepare and maintain supporting schedules for accounts/areas pertaining to external reporting e.g. EPS calculations, annual reports, press releases, proxy statements, FAS 123, etc. Reviews GAAP, SEC and other guidelines to interpret and document their impact on the business and ensure compliance with external reporting requirements. Work closely with legal department, internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory and GAAP reporting.

 

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. 5 years minimum SEC experience required. MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
