SEC Reporting Analyst - Down Town

 

Don't be discouraged by the requirements.  While prior experience is a plus we are simply looking for a current or prior Senior Auditor out of Public Accounting who has experience auditing public companies. The rest can be on the job training!

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly successful publicly traded organization. The SEC Reporting position is highly visible and works closely with the executive team.

Responsibilities
Assist with SEC filings of 10-Q and 10K, press releases and other internal reporting. Support external audits as it relates to area of responsibility. Research accounting issues and new accounting pronouncements. Help establish new procedures to continually improve and reduce closing cycles Create, modify and implement accounting policies. Assist with Sox 404 compliance. Independently handle activities, including general on-going accounting, reporting and analysis as it relates to primary responsibilities and special assignments.

Review financial statements and coordinate all internal & external (10Q / 10K) quarterly reporting requirements.


Requirements
Prior exposure to SEC filings of 10-Q and 10K, press releases and other internal reporting--drafting and supporting. Proficient in researching technical accounting issues and new accounting pronouncements. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Detail oriented, self-starter individual, organized, good work-paper documentation skills, team player. Candidate must have experience with a Big 4 or a large regional public accounting firm. CPA and BA/BS required.
