SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ANALYST #5669

This position will lead a team responsible for the processing, accounting, and reconciliation of cash payments associated with our investment portfolio.

 

 Primary responsibilities include:

·  Supervise daily activities, coordinate and assign responsibilities, and manage the development and performance of team members.

·  Ensure the timely and accurate recording and reconciling of security transactions.

·  Apply accounting knowledge and judgment to accounting activities that are moderately complex.

·  Understand the flow of information, financial systems, and reporting tools, and use that knowledge to resolve problems and improve processes and controls.

 

Additionally, this individual will contribute to and/or lead projects on behalf of the department.  In this capacity, the candidate is expected to utilize an understanding of financial products, processes, and systems to proactively develop effective solutions for operational and organizational mandates. 

 

This position requires professional, proactive, and effective communication with multiple internal and external customers and contacts to ensure that business issues are collaboratively resolved for the success of the company.  The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate the following skills:

Qualifications for this position include:

·  Four year Accounting, Finance, or related business degree

·  Four or more years of related experience in accounting, with investment experience strongly preferred

·  Two or more years of supervisory experience strongly preferred

·  Candidates who have obtained or are in pursuit of a related professional designation and/or an advanced degree will be preferred

·  Strong computer skills, including a solid understanding and working knowledge of MS Office products required

·   Working knowledge of PAM, Aladdin, or GEAC preferred
