KIK LOS ANGELES located in City of Industry, CA procures, blends, fills and packages a wide variety of aerosol personal care consumer packaged goods.
We are searching for a talented, hands-on SENIOR ACCOUNTANT with a strong costing background, strengths in General Ledger, fixed assets, preferably in JDE and month end closing. You will be expected to jump right in and assume cost responsibilities of this medium sized manufacturing facility. Significant strengths should include working independently, ability to thrive in a hands-on environment, leadership, communication, and organizational skills. This position reports directly to the Plant Controller.
IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or Accounting, CPA a plus but not required Minimum 4+ years experience in cost in a manufacturing plant environmentExperienced in general ledger, fixed assets, routings and work centers Experience in an ERP system a must, MFG/Pro preferred Proficient in Microsoft office products.Bilingual a plus
Capabilities and Expectations for Success:
Responsible for all costing functions in MFG/Pro system Generates cost rolls on raw materials, work in process and finished goods Assist in the development of cost for new products Maintain cost system Analysis of production and cost variances Verify raw material and finished goods inventory Back-up billing process Prepare journal entries Assist with monthly package preparation Assist in annual budgeting process Maintain fixed asset system Perform account reconciliations Prepare quarterly sales and use tax return Assist in physical inventories
