SR. ACCOUNTING MANAGER/ASSISTANT CONTROLLER

A profitable & well established company in Orange County is seeking an experienced, high caliber professional to lead the accounting department & help guide the company’s accountingpolicies/ procedures. This position will require the combination of solid leadership & team building skills, rigorous application of GAAP on complex accounting transactionsas well as use of analytical methods & tools to handle items including but not limited to budgeting,forecasting, reporting and ad hoc special projects. This person will be ultimately responsible for ensuring consistent and accurate operations of the accounting department on a daily basis, while at the same time handling higher level financial & management  reporting activities. Polished communication skills and the ability to interact with company leadership on an intelligent basis are required.

 

The right person for this positionwill be a motivated, experienced leader with the proven ability to run anaccounting department from top to bottom. We are looking for someone who hasthe ability and desire to make a positive impact & grow professionally within our  organization.

 

 

Position Requirements

  4yr Degree in Accounting/Finance orRelated A minimum of 6-7 Years  Professional Accounting Experience   Proven Track Record of Advancement & Achievement  Proven Management Experience, leading a team of 5 or more.
  Advanced credentials (CPA, MS in Accounting or MBA) are a definite plus, but not absolutely required.
