SENIOR COST ACCOUNTANT - NEW POSITION!!
Senior Cost Accountant
Newly Created Position!!!
Experienced Cost Accountant needed for this leading Harrisonburg, VA area manufacturing company. Company offers excellent benefits, bonus potential, relocation assistance and future growth potential.
Job duties will include:Maintaining current cost and verifying the bill of materials for all inventory. Calculating/applying labor and overhead rates and providing in-depth analysis of variances. Assist with month end closing including journal entries, verification and producing financial statements and management cost reports for budget, forecasting, and analysis. Developing standard cost on new products and maintenance of current standard costs. Maintaining accurate inventory management reporting systems. Fixed assets, capital projects, LIFOPerforming formal account reconciliations to ensure maintenance of proper inventory and material usages.
Requirements:A bachelor’s degree plus 2 - 5 yrs. experience Manufacturing experience highly preferred CPA, CMA or MBA a plus! Strong computer skills. SAP preferred
