SENIOR COST ANALYST

  Provide financial decision-making information by collecting, analyzing, and reporting cost data Implement, maintain and update the standard cost system, including bill of materials and item master Analyzes changes in product design, materials, MFG methods, or services provided, to determine effects on costs Analyze & reconcile variances – material, labor, overhead and margins Prepare cost and variance fluctuation analysis as needed Review and close monthly work orders Calculate and analyze E & O reserve requirements Perform month-end closing, JE’s, accruals, allocation of labor and expenses Lead the year-end physical inventory activities Interface with production planning Other projects as necessaryMANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field At least 5 years experience in Accounting At least 3 years experience in a Manufacturing environment At least 3 years of experience in cost accounting, working with bills for materials and inventories. Ability to travel nationally and internationally approximately 10%. Intermediate or advanced Excel skills and excellent all-around computer systems knowledge and navigation skills Strong analytical technical and business skills, with detailed oriented abilities Strong command of English language verbally and in writing.
