SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST JOB SUMMARY:

 

Analytical position supporting overall financial advisory services business and new business development in finance within our Emerging Business Group. Individual will work closely with the Senior Manager of this business segment.



Description of responsibilities:

 *Prepare, review and analyze business plans, economic/financial models including P&L and financial feasibility studies or existing clients and prospects

*Prepare financial and business analyses; prepare presentation materials

*Prepare analyses related to potential M&A and financing transactions,

*Participate in valuation analyses of early stage to middle market companies.

*Participate in development, structuring and implementation of financing plans, M&A transactions.

*Participate in the development, review and negotiation of financing and M&A transactions

*Engage in providing financial consulting and strategic advisory services such as reviewing business models, evaluating growth strategies, evaluating capital structure for client companies

*Engage in due diligence activities

*Engage in business development activities

 

Job Qualifications:

 *BA or MBA in finance and/ or accounting. CPA desired, but not required.

*Minimum 5 - 8  years progressive experience as any analyst in financial consulting, financial advisory, investment banking or securities firm

*Strong economic/financial modeling skills using Microsoft Excel

*Advanced understanding of concepts of financial analysis (including understanding of valuation methodologies) and strong analytical skills

*Strong accounting background and experience

*Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

*Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

*Ability to take direction and work independently.

*Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
