SENIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR

We currently have an opportunity at our Corporate office in York, PA for a Senior Internal Auditor.  The description and qualifications are as follows:

 

Description:

 

The key focus of this position will be to execute the annual audit plan, the Sarbanes-Oxley compliance effort, and special projects while interfacing closely with Internal Audit Management and others at various company-wide levels. Work independently as well as part of an engagement team to complete a variety of financial and operational audits. Plan, supervise, and complete audit engagementsPerform and review audit testingPrepare and review audit work papers documenting findings and recommendationsProvide corrective action guidanceEffectively communicate audit status and findings to Internal Audit Management and Company ManagementAssists in company-wide Sarbanes-Oxley 404 (SOX) effort, including reviewing and testing internal controls.Performs internal consulting projects as assigned.Provides training and guidance to staff auditors in conducting audits and other audit-related issues.Identifies and evaluates the company’s risk areas and provides key input to the development of the audit plan.Travel up to 30% (includes domestic & international).

 

 

Experience Needed:

 MUST HAVE a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting or auditing.Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Supervisory experienceTechnical auditing and/or accounting skills.Ability to work independently and within a team.Working knowledge of internal control structure.Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Exposure to manufacturing processes and concepts.

 

Preferred but Not Required:Professional certification such as a CPA, CIA, or CFE (or working towards one).Experience at a public accounting firm.Experience with SOX.Experience with SAP R/3 or similar ERP systems.Experience with Visio, database query tools, data analysis software, and electronic workpaper software.

 

 

Education:

 MUST HAVE a BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance
