  SENIOR INTERNAL SOX AUDITOR

This International leader-in-its-field, headquartered in Houston needs your SOX expertise.

The ideal candidate will have:
1. Bachelor's degree in accounting.
2. MBA is a plus.
3. Certification required.
4. Two plus years experience in internal or external auditing, and/or SOX auditing.
5. Knowledge and application of the internal control requirements as specified by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Section 404, and Accounting Standard 5 (AS5) is a plus.
6. Ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 20%.
7. Should have or able to acquire a US passport.
8. Strong PC skills.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Duties:
1. Plan, organize and perform various SOX audits.
2. Performs SOX audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, and documenting client processes and procedures.
3. Conducts interviews, reviews documents, develops and administers surveys, and prepares accurate and complete working papers that adequately support SOX audit findings and document work performed.
4. Identifies and evaluates the organization's risk areas and provides key input to the development of the Annual SOX Audit Plan, and in developing SOX audit programs and tests.
5. Assists in providing training, coaching and guidance to employees and staff on SOX audit and internal control related areas.
