SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT

SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT (SALT)

 

Our client  is seeking qualified candidates for the position of SALT – Tax Senior.  Candidates should have a degree in accounting and 3-4 years of job related experience.  CPA certification or CPA track is required.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Research various state tax matters and determine appropriate treatment, prepare reports on conclusionsIdentify, analyze and plan for state taxes from legal and operating structure changes due to mergers, acquisitions and reorganizationsCreate models to determine impact of potential new state tax laws and write statements on these lawsAccumulate information for property tax compliance and various state tax creditsPrepare correspondence to IRS and states

 

SKILLS REQUIRED:

 Knowledge of CCH Research Manager and BNAStrong working knowledge of Excel and AccessExcellent verbal and written skills

 

Candidates need to be of high integrity and good judgment.  They must come with strong problem analysis and technical skills and be customer service oriented.
