SR. RISK MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT

 

This position is responsible for the following: Assisting the Director, Insurance & Risk Management, with the development and management of the Corporation's enterprise risk management program

Analyzing underwriting, business/compliance, operational, and asset/liability risks to which the Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates are exposed and preparing relevant reports. Effective management of professional liability and property/casualty claims. Assisting in the management of the corporation's insurance programs. Interpreting and coordinating policies and procedures relative to insured and self-insured programs, to assure that the assets of the corporation are protected and preserved.  

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree. Five (5) to Seven (7) years of experience in enterprise risk management and/or in corporate insurance environment. Three (3) years experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs with an emphasis on enterprise risk management software applications.

 

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree. Degree or Certification in Risk Management such as Associate's in Risk Management ("ARM") or related program. Experience working effectively with senior management, the legal community, insurance brokers, third-party administrators and all levels of internal to properly communicate and coordinate various insurance and enterprise risk management programs and initiatives.
