STAFF ACCOUNTANT

KASCO Corporation, a leading manufacturer and distributor of meat cutting products and butcher supplies, has an immediate opening in our St. Louis corporate office for a Staff Accountant.  The successful candidate will have 2-5 years experience  in performing monthly close activities, including making journal entries, analyzing prepaid and accrued expense accounts in the general ledger, and handling inter-company transactions.  Will also prepare monthly financial statements, bank reconciliations, and maintain the fixed asset system, reconciling the fixed asset system to the general ledger.  Will support the Accounting Manager in all audit activities during quarterly reviews.  Prefer candidates with experience in a manufacturing environment.  Must be computer literate with emphasis on Excel.  Knowledge of Visual Manufacturing software a big plus.  We provide a competitive compensation and benefits program, and a convenient mid-town location.  If you possess the above listed qualifications and would enjoy working for an industry leader, we would like to hear from you.  All resumes and salary history information will be kept in strict confidence.  EOE.  Visit our website at www.kascocorp.com.
