This position would be reporting to the Assistant Controller.Work environment is high energy and pace – and often very fluid to accommodate business realities and needs. Initial responsibilities include training with the founder/CEO, marketing coordinator, sales director, arts/graphics manager, shipping/receiving supervisor, and IT to develop a full understanding of all general office, back office, shipping & receiving, marketing and sales, and other business operations. The long term position would evolve into supporting or being responsible/accountable for the following: • Participate with the senior staff in the strategic and tactical business planning process. • Bookkeeping A/R, A/P • Bank Recs • Develop and maintain business plans, forecasts, budgets, etc., including financial models. • Develop action plans to execute on the business plan • Track business plans vs. accomplishments, including the financial model. • Participate in product development meetings • Support and help coordinate purchasing, accounting, billing, HR, shipping & receiving logistics • Support all marketing, sales, promotions activities. • General office administration and coordination • Facility management and coordination of maintenance • Help Plan and Coordinate Trade Shows • Help Plan and Coordinate Outside Sales Reps About Ledgent Ledgent is a full service accounting and finance placement firm offering temporary, temporary-to-hire and direct hire staffing services.
