Sales Analyst

The Sales Analyst will play a key role in working with the Branded Sales team to manage BP branded programs and contractual agreements.  This role works directly with internal sales managers and external customers to manage contracts and administer various key programs across all branded channels.  In addition, this position provides the Sales Manager limited support on customer operations issues.

The Sales Analyst reports directly to the Customer Support Manager.  Critical traits to be successful in this role are a commitment to external and internal customers and the ability to successfully complete multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.

Accountabilities Include:Ensures customer contracts are properly maintained, contracts nearing end-dates are provided to the Jobber Sales Manager and/or customer in a timely fashion to be in compliance with the US Petroleum Marketers Practices Act and contracts are properly executed. Manages secondary contracts such as the Jobber Outlet Incentive Program and Marketing Assistance Program. Accepts responsibility for calculating/collecting customer financial obligations and works closely with Accounting to keep accounts reconciled and current. Ensures processes are followed in accordance with company internal control policies, including delegations of authority, contract execution and proper use of company programs. Works closely with other parts of the Fuels organization (i.e., Legal, Marketing, Accounting, etc.) in evaluating new offers and creating more efficiency in support of existing offers. Acts as the sales liaison on operational issues that warrant need for additional customer support.

Required Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Sales Analyst applicants must have:Legal authorization to work in the US on a full time basis for anyone other than current employer.A minimum of a Bachelors Degree in a business related discipline.A minimum of 3 years of experience in roles supporting sales, marketing, supply chain and/or customer service.The willingness and ability to relocate to, or commute on a daily basis to, Warrenville, IL, on a daily basis without company assistance.Proficient analytical skills with strong business acumen.A proven track record of managing and prioritizing multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
In addition to the required qualifications the successful candidate is likely to be able to demonstrate:A minimum of 1 year of SAP experience.
