We are looking for a 'Sales Executive ' for the West Coast region US , preferably based out of San Fransisco. This position would be based in a home office.
The person would be responsible for successfully selling RSM McGladrey FPO services in a specific vertical industry throughout the United States. Duties include: identifying and properly qualifying business opportunities, presenting to the executive level of organizations, coordinating needs analysis/scoping initiatives, preparing formal proposals, leading negotiations, coordinating complex decision-making process, and overcoming objections to closure. Individual needs to maintain a strong knowledge of the restaurant, accounting/finance and technology industries. Must provide accurate sales forecasts and reports this information to Sr. Management in a timely and consistent manner. Other responsibilities include:
1. Responsible for identifying target accounts and initiating cold calls to engage potential client in discussion regarding FPO service offerings.
2. Responsible for locating new business opportunities for RSM McGladrey FPO in the Restaurant Business Unit by identifying, qualifying and visiting new potential customers.
3. Responsive to the customers needs to follow through on all aspects of request, both written and verbal.
4. Required to work closely with the Divisional Director and four corner alignment team when responding to a RFP to a potential customer.
5. Make presentations to various groups within a customer''s organization when needed.
6. Will be the lead person on preparing the written proposal in response to a customer''s RFP, and coordinate all information from the different disciplines and arrange the formal response.
7. Required to attend trade shows along with different conferences both educational and customer oriented. Frequent travel is expected.
Other duties and responsibilities:
1. Assists with the annual sales plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives.
2. Complies with the implementation and execution of sales policies and practices.
3. Ensures communications are coordinated, support sales plan objectives and meet organizational requirements.
4. Establishes specific channel selling strategies to maximize sales activity.
5. Performs other related duties as assigned.
