Sales and Use Tax Accountant

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES·  Prepares timely filings of monthly, quarterly and annual sales/use tax returns for our client which includes five divisions in the U.S.  ·  Provides upkeep and improvements to the sales tax process, including software modification.·  Manages all sales tax audits working closely with state auditors and external consultants.·  Maintains and collects sales tax exemption certificates for all divisions.·  Prepares accurate and timely sales tax account reconciliations. POSITION REQUIREMENTS·  BA accounting, finance, or related field.·  3-5 years relevant work experience.·  Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.·  Knowledge of sales tax regulations.
