Senior Accountant

As Senior Accountant you will perform various responsibilities that will assist in maintaining the integrity of the company’s consolidated financial statements, including: preparing analysis on various balance sheet and P&L accounts, assisting with journal entries during the monthly financial close process, preparing account reconciliations on a monthly basis to identify and resolve potential issues within the financial statements. In addition, you will also participate in preparing internal management reports as well as SEC filings, and participate in special projects in areas such as inventory, internal control review, reserve analysis, acquisitions and systems implementations.
Ideal candidates must have 2 years of public or 3 years of private accounting experience, a Bachelors degree in accounting or finance, knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger/consolidation systems with ability to work in an automated systems environment, proactive in achieving results and investigating issues as they arise, ability to work with others in a shared workload situation. Also required are exposure in key areas: GAAP research, consolidation and foreign currency. Excellent analytical skills and judgment, proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required.
