Senior Accountant

The J. Paul Getty Trust, an international cultural and philanthropic organization dedicated to the visual arts, has the following employment opportunity available: Sr. Accountant Candidate must possess Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in a traditional accounting environment (2 years public, 1 year private or equivalent), CPA preferred, experience with PeopleSoft software and have excellent Microsoft Excel skills. Key duties include, reconciling balance sheet accounts, preparing and presenting reports on financial performance, preparing annual audited financial statements, developing business policies and procedures, and providing timely response to inquiries from internal and external customers. Candidate must have excellent leadership/organizational skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, the ability to effectively interact with others, excellent oral and written communication skills, and extensive knowledge of business analysis.
