Senior Accountant

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

General ledger accounting for subsidiaries, internal and external financial reporting, reconcile various reports, account reconciliations, work with plant personnel to analyze financial statement fluctuations and monthly debt compliance. 

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Record all monthly journal entries for subsidiary/Joint Venture and analyze financial statement fluctuationsMaintain Business Plan and prepare reports for monthly financial review meeting with managementReconcile accounts on a monthly/quarterly basisPrepare monthly debt compliance reportsPrepare quarterly Statement of Cash FlowsPrepare property tax returnsWork closely with other members of accounting to insure proper reporting in the general ledgerPerforms other related duties and assignments as required

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Thorough general knowledge and understanding of accounting principals Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employeesAbility to meet deadlinesExcellent mathematical skills

 

Education, prior work experience, and specialized skills and knowledge: Bachelors of Science in Accounting; CPA, 2 – 7 years staff accounting experience; Computer Skills: Knowledge of AS400, SAP, Microsoft Word and Excel
