Senior Accountant, Compensation Analyst

Its consumer properties offer a comprehensive destination for the active lifestyle.Primary Duties and Responsibilities: • Tracking and calculation of variable compensation • Ensure all bonus and commission expenses are within budget and reconciled with annual operating plan • Work with general accounting to ensure accurate financial presentation • Manage the bi-monthly payroll processing function and assist with processing if necessary • Analyze compensation expense trends and fluctuations for presentation to management • Work with all departments and department heads to ensure effective communication regarding compensation targets as well as visibility into actual results (ROI calculations) • Manage stock plan administration utilizing Equity Edge Required Knowledge, Skills, Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related discipline • 4+ years accounting experience with progressive responsibilities • Experience managing incentive compensation accounting including bonus and commissions and their business application is a plus. Work with variable compensation plans is highly desired • General ledger accounting or financial/business analysis • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel necessary, to include macro applications • Excellent analytical and verbal/written communication skills necessary as well as a proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem solving environment • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact and communicate with senior management necessary • Database or system design experience helpfulPlease refer to job description.
