Senior Accountant/Controller

Controller

We are a fast growing Healthcare company that just qualified to be on the upcoming Inc. Magazine’s  2008 list of 500 fastest growing privately held companies-we grew over 1000% in revenues the last four years. We are projected to grow another 40% or more for fiscal year 2008.  The ideal candidate must have an entrepreneurial spirit but also have the experience to institute accounting procedures and processes to help put structure in place. Controller experience is a plus but if you’re a Senior Accountant (minimum 6 years of exp) with lots of experience in financial reporting,  preparing  financial statements, tax returns,  maintaining GL, A/R, A/P and skilled in most areas of accounting, please apply. Experience in the staffing industry and/or fast growth type of company is a plus.

Essential Job Functions

Maintain GL, A/R, A/P, and manage payroll activities

Create accepted accounting processes and controls

Manage finance activities

Establish and/or maintain relationships with finance/ lending institution to help fund our growth

Coordinate all tax filings

Help establish budgets and forecasting methods

Have the ability to manage people and projects

Report directly to the CEO

Participate in upper management meetings to guide the company in achieving strategic objectives

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or MBA in Finance a preferred

Quick books Enterprise (or any version of QB) experience preferred but not required

Minimum of 6 years of Accounting experience

Ability to manage multiple projects and people

Ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude and the ability to adapt and change rapidly

Strong attention to detail
