Senior Accountant- Dulles/Reston/Herndon

Our publicly-traded client has a newly created position for a Senior Accountant in the Dulles region:Assist Manager with the accounting operations including accounts payables, treasury, accounts receivables, and general ledger reconciliation. Complete special projects of an accounting nature as assigned by the Manager of Accounting Operations. Assist with the completion of quarterly and yearly financial statements, includes working with external and internal auditors. Responsible for the administration of accounting-related systems as associated with accounting operations. Responsible for the maintenance, compliance and training related to SOX Compliance. Represents accounting operations interests in company-wide initiatives. Maintain and complete timely assigned reconciliations

Required:BS/BA in Accounting CPA is a plus 3 years plus total accounting experience required Management experience is a plus
