This senior accountant role will be a key position for financial statement preparation, account analysis, journal entries and coordination of month-end close.  It will require a highly organized strong analytical thinker who enjoys daily accounting challenges and is persistent in getting to the right answer.  Supervisory experience is a plus. The position will further entail variance analysis of actual to budget; accounting for foreign subsidiaries and client transactions and compiling schedules for the regulatory agencies. This diverse, high profile role will be expected to liaise with Senior Management and clients and thus requires strong communication skills. Qualifications include: a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, 3+ years in a Financial accounting role (financial services is a plus, NOT a must), a knowledge of GAAP, strong pc skills and a strong team attitude.
