Senior Accountant, Joint Ventures and Compliance

Position ID: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Accounting/Finance/Insurance Type: Full Time, Employee A highly reputable, national real estate developer is looking to add a Joint Venture Accountant. This position is responsible for preparing financial statements for all joint ventures reconciling all joint venture accounts, and assisting in the consolidation of financial statements related to the Joint ventures.  Summarize, interpret and monitor joint venture/operating agreements on an ongoing basis. The position is also responsible for general accounting, monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including preparation of audit and tax work papers, overseeing the payment of property taxes and related accruals and other responsibilities as assigned. Background required- Requires a Bachelor’s degree with major in Accounting and CPA required.  3-7 years combination of accounting, auditing and tax experience with a minimum of two years in public accounting.
