Senior Accountant/Manager

We are currently seeking a strong Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager for a very profitable, exciting organization that is a market leader and pioneer in its industry. The company, located in Columbus, Georgia, offers a dynamic, growth environment as well as excellent employee benefits. This individual will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on company performance, and have good exposure to senior management. 

The ideal candidate will have between 5 - 10 years of private accounting experience, or 2-4 years of public accounting experience.  This position is heavily involved in G/L, reconciliations, responsible for Balance Sheet accounts, and financial reporting and analysis.

The position has 2 direct reports -- one staff accountant, and a fixed asset accountant.

Great Plains (or other GL Software) experience is a plus.
