Senior Accountant- Manufacturing Experience

Our client, an industry-leading International Manufacturing company, is searching for a Senior Accountant:

 

Essential Functions:Provide accurate and timely reporting of actual performance Understand costing, balance sheet reconciliations, manufacturing accounts and financial statement preparation Determine and improve financial status by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results. Identify risks and opportunities to budgets. Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports, presenting findings, analyses and recommendations. Perform special projects and analysis as directed.

Education, Experience and Knowledge:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. CPA a plus. 3 or more years accounting experience. Manufacturing/Construction industry experience preferred. Good understanding of financial statements and accounting relationships. Well organized, detail oriented and adept at multi-tasking and reporting to tight deadlines Thrives in an environment of change and the challenge of continual process improvement Adept at communicating with both financial and non-financial team members Experience with JD Edwards (E1) preferred. Minimal Travel Required.
