Company:  Ajilon Finance Job Category:  Accounting/Finance/Insurance Reference Code:  B1-21041-504491 Location:  Boston North, MA 01803 Job Status:  Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Responsibilities: Supports the global Corporate Control department and helps prepare management reports and annual and quarterly GAAP financial statements for company. Applies accounting knowledge to the execution of monthly closing activities and meets various monthly, quarterly and annual deadlines. • Financial Statement Preparation – participates in the consolidation of over 100 entities of company and the analysis of the financial statements. Write report specifications, as well as system maintenance for the SAP reporting system. Write memos to the organizations explaining changes in the statutory reporting and monthly reporting requirements. Responsible for keeping abreast of GAAP accounting issues. • Regional Support Services – participates in monitoring the quality of core financial information reported by reviewing the information submitted by the organizations and helping to identify structural shortcomings. Responsible for reading and gaining an understanding of new accounting practices. • Management Reporting - participates in completing the Financial Highlights report on a monthly basis. Prepare management presentations & special projects as needed. • Other responsibilities - write documentation of accounting procedures. May oversee the work of Staff Accountant Requirements: - BA or BS degree in accounting. - Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. - Three years of large corporation or national public accounting experience preferred. - Good writing skills and knowledge of accounting systems and advanced Excel skills needed.   - MBA or CPA a plus.
