Senior Accountant - Real Estate Developer/Manager

Our Client, A stable and well known Commercial Real Estate developer and manager, is seeking a strong Senior Accountant to work on both property level accounting and corporate level accounting. Ideal candidate will be able to work independently and fast paced and energetic. Strong mix of operational accounting experience and General Ledger work.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Month end accruals and depreciation/amortization entries.Investigate and correct accounting entries identified during the reconciliation process.Bank Reconciliations and Cash Management. Prepares month end schedules for all balance sheet items that tie to both the GL and source documents.Experienced with accounts payable and receivable processes.Internal control reviews and process implementation. Common Area Maintenance (CAM) Reconciliations, Expense and variance analysisFinancial Reporting

Ideal Candidate will have 3-6 years of Corporate Accounting experience preferably in the Real Estate industry. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required. Strong systems skills, as well as excellent communication skills.
