Senior Accounting Professional

Senior Accounting Professional to join exceptional Virginia-based firm. This senior professional will conduct and direct all phases of several client engagements simultaneously, coordinating involvement of various departments as needed. The ability to follow the progress of engagements and resolve accounting and auditing issues as they arise is essential.  The successful candidate will have experience in complete and accurate preparation and review of working papers and financial statements.  Strong technical knowledge of auditing procedures and applications as well as working knowledge of tax accrual are required.  As a senior technical professional, you will be actively engaged in expanding client development and cultivating networking relationships with clients and professionals in various internal departments and divisions.  You will also play an integral role in supervising and mentoring professional staff while serving as a role model and aiding staff in expanding technical skills.
