Senior Accounting & Reporting Analyst

Put a Lift in Your Career!  NACCO Materials Handling Group, Inc., a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, is currently seeking a Senior Accounting & Reporting Analyst for our America’s Division Headquarters in Greenville, NC.

Key Responsibilities:Create, maintain, review and audit various financial transactions in accordance with GAAP, affecting various financial and geographic areas of the NMHG Americas Division.  Assist in the creation and administration of company policies and procedures to ensure adequate internal control and safeguarding of company assets.  Reconcile assigned accounts.  Assist with the monthly, quarterly and year end financial close process.Develop, process and analyze complex reserve models. Maintain proper accounting for employee benefit (pension, profit sharing, medical, incentive compensation, etc.) accounting databases and related reporting.  Assist with external and internal audit requirements.

 

Requirements are:BS in Accounting. 4 years relevant experience. Advanced certification of CPA, CMA and/or MSA strongly preferred.SAP financial software experience preferred.Advanced Excel spreadsheets skills.  Strong written, analytical and communication skills as well as a working knowledge of accounting principles and concepts.Ability to work within a deadline driven environment and to work overtime at month end and for special projects.
