Senior Accounts Payable person wanted!

 

Job Purpose:
Completes payments by entering and verifying transactions; updating accounts on a timely fashion.



Duties:



* Meets accounts payable operational standards by contributing accounts payable information to strategic plans and reviews; resolving problems; identifying system improvements.

* Invoice coding; PO matching, verifying transactions; scheduling disbursements; obtaining authorization of payments and monthly accrual expenses.

* Resolves account discrepancies by evaluating and approving investigations; resolving special cases; authorizing stop-payments.

* Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls.

* Maintains accounting ledgers by posting monthly account transactions.

* Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

* Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

 

B.S. in Accounting preferred. Microsoft Words, Excel and Integrated Computer System knowledge. Proactive, Attention to Detail, and motivated.
