Aronson Expert Services (A&C’s valuation/litigation services group) provides third-party business valuation services to privately-owned businesses, including emerging and venture-backed companies. Our experienced and credentialed valuation analysts are intimately familiar with the middle market and consistently deliver objective, supportable valuations. We also provide dispute advisory and forensic services, including expert witness testimony. While the Aronson Expert Services team is comprised of individuals with diverse backgrounds, we share a common goal: to be a trusted resource for our clients.

 

We are looking for a qualified senior consultant/analyst to add to this growing practice area. This is an amazing opportunity for you, the CPA who is fighting a love-hate battle with your choice of career in public accounting, to make use of the analytical skills you have developed in your prior experience as a CPA.

 

Duties / Responsibilities:

·  Perform in-depth analysis of financial information

·  Develop discounted cash flow analyses and other financial models

·  Screen for and analyze comparable public companies and guideline transactions

·  Perform economic and industry research

·  Prepare client deliverables consisting of Excel models, Word and Powerpoint documents

·  Assist with proper documentation and quality control of work product

 

Skills/ Requirements:

·  Bachelors Degree & CPA required. CVA, ABV, ASA, or CFA credentials (or progress towards achievement) are a plus but not required

·  3 years of public accounting experience (preferably audit) & at least 1 year of valuation experience required

·  Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills

·  Familiarity with financial accounting standards

·  Proficient in MS Office suite; advanced MS Excel skills are a must

·  Able to balance multiple engagements with varying deadlines

·  Able to generate a quality work product in a timely manner while maintaining a strong attention to detail
