Senior Controller with Real Estate Experience

Senior Controller - Property AccountingThe Senior Controller of Property Accounting will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a quality property accounting organization Directing the development of management reporting for properties Facilitating property financial performance measurements Establishing and enhancing the property liquidity management process Supervising high level/experienced Controllers Implementing management strategy Ensuring that all Sarbanes Oxley controls and standards are met Communicating accounting policies and procedures to the entities and overseeing their consistent application Minimum requirements include: 12+ years in accounting. Public accounting experience is strongly preferred, but not required Real estate experience is required Oracle/JD Edwards experience a plus Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university; master’s degree a plus CPA designation is required This position should be an experienced real estate professional with property accounting experience (this is required) located in the Galleria area
