Senior Cost Accountant

Established Austin company seeking experienced, self motivated individual for the role of "Senior Cost Accountant".

Candidates must have the following :

Manufacturing experience is required.
3-7 years of experience in Accounting and/ or Finance
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or business related field.
MBA, or Advanced degree is a plus !

This role will be responsible for the following items :

Support of manufacturing and service part drive best practices through development of sound processes.
Support for Cost of Goods sold section of the financial statement
Complete month end Journal Entries, Reconciliations and Reporting on timely manner.
Support monthly analysis in the manufacturing and service part areas and ensure adherence to the budget.
Creation of a review cycle for cost center and all other monthly reporting.
Audit expense reduction projects.
Budgeting and project expense control.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
