CITY/STATE: Santa Rosa, CAPOSITION TYPE: Full Time, EmployeeJOB CATEGORY: Accounting/Finance/InsuranceEDUCATION LEVEL: Bachelor's DegreeSALARY: 60,000.00 - 70,000.00 USD /yearREFERENCE CODE: KJ-040808-SH Senior Cost/Financial Analyst     This is a highly visible position that requires a hands-on approach with operations and financial or cost analysis.  They will be an integral part of developing cost reporting and provide commentary against cost drivers/variance analysis.  The Senior Cost/Financial Analyst will be requested to work independently on certain projects that require this individual to be a self starter in order to be able to search out and obtain information needed to achieve assignment requirements. Primary Responsibilities Performs variance analysis against quarterly forecasts and plan as well as actuals against plan. Participates in the implementation of Hyperion/Essbase for developing tools for cost analysis. Builds complex financial models in MS Excel. Performs ad hoc financial analysis. Participates in monthly cost accounting close and reporting processes. Develops and maintains strong relationships with Directors and Managers and other key personnel. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 5-7 Years Manufacturing Experience. Advanced Excel skills required. Ability to understand cost drivers and report variances, NPV, IRR and turnover rates, with days of sales in inventory. Strong understanding of cost analysis, and cost variances.
