Senior Financial Analyst

Description

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Strategy, this individual will be the 5th member of the finance team (including the CFO) in a rapidly-growing, entrepreneurial and profitable organization.  This person will share responsibility in developing financial forecasts and reporting tools as well as creating models and analyses to help manage and support the day-to-day decisions of the company. The ideal candidate is not simply a “number cruncher” but one who both wants to gain operational exposure and can think strategically beyond the basic work that needs to get done.   This is a unique position in which the individual will learn about the direct response television and network marketing businesses as well as the fitness and beauty industries.

 

Primary ResponsibilitiesAssist with the maintenance of the company’s budget Provide budget-to-actual variance analysis for monthly, quarterly, and annual reportingGather and consolidate detailed information to assist departments in understanding measures of financial performanceAssist department heads to implement annual forecasting and budgetingProvide input through business modeling and pro forma analyses to support strategic decision-making in day-to-day operations and new programsHelp to develop financial reporting and presentations to CFO, President and CEO

 

RequirementsMinimum of 2-3 years as an analyst in a finance environment / investment banking roleStrong proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint requiredAbility to balance multiple projects at onceMust be able to see the big picture while having an exceptionally detail-oriented focusFlexible team player who is looking to thrive in a fast-growing and often-times uncertain environmentExcellent communication skillsDesire to join an organization with a culture that thrives on passion, enthusiasm and funBA or BS required
