Senior Financial Analyst - Position Description
International Financial Group (IFG) specializes in placing highly qualified Finance, Accounting, Tax & Audit professionals on a contractual, consulting and full-time/permanent basis. IFG is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for our Richmond area office.
Ideal candidates for the role of Senior Financial Analyst must have 5-7+ years of similar accounting/financial analysis experience and the job responsibilities will include…
· Financial statement analysis
· Annual budget development and analysis
· Perform financial forecasting
· Perform variance analysis
· Produce financial reports
· Produce business intelligence tools and reports
· Perform financial modeling and decision support analysis
· Investigate and solve/troubleshoot accounting issues
· Improve processes by researching/implementing other system tools and methods, and
· Maintain and support various accounting system information
The Senior Financial Analyst should demonstrate excellent analytical skills and a good understanding of financial concepts. This individual should also be proactive and assume ownership of assigned projects.
