Senior Financial Analyst

Position ID: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Accounting/Finance/Insurance Type: Full Time, Employee Fortune 500, International Organization is growing and has an opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst in the Operations Finance Department. If you have a passion for the operational side of the business and interfacing on an international level, this could be for you! Incumbent will work closely with the Supply Chain Group in order to understand all elements of inventory. The crux of the position will be analyzing and forecasting inventory. Additional responsibilities include providing monthly inventory reports to management, coordinating international inventory actions and supporting Executive Sales Inventory & Operations Planning meetings. Position will also work with product lines to drive inventory actions and understand relief. Problem solving, process improvement and Ad Hoc projects are a given. Further responsibilities are:6+ years of related experience - combination of accounting and financial analysis in increasingly responsible rolesAdditional Qualifications: Strong accounting backgroundCPA, CMA, or MBA preferred Thorough understanding of month end closing process and broad business financial process knowledge Experience with working in a multi-divisional, multi-country, and multi-currency environment Intermediate to advance SAP knowledge, including FI/CO modules and system integration, inside and outside of SAP. Experience with conducting training sessions preferred. Experience with SAP implementation preferred and SAP production environment preferred. Proven record in a leadership role, e.g. team lead or supervisor. Comfortable with working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment as this is a heavy multi-tasking roleWilling to "do what it takes to get the job done". Occasional weekends required. May involve some travel, especially to conduct training sessions when sites go live. Strong communicator, with excellent presentation, listening, and discussion leading skills. Strong leadership skills to work with the various Aerospace businesses, may involve leading a Finance COE team.  Highly organized with ability to prioritize. Strong work ethic to meet deliverables, deadlines, and other job requirements. A thinker and innovator, with the desire to constantly improve business processes, save costs, and keep learning to improve himself/ herself.
