FINANCIAL ANALYST - SALESRedmond, WA  Position Description  • Performs quantitative analysis and business support for the domestic sales organization • Conducts and documents moderate to complex accounting activities or financial analysis projects • Assist in pricing and contracting analysis and support  Position Responsibilities • Sales Planning, Analysis, and Forecasting - Conduct market segment and channel planning, modeling and analysis - Assist in quota calculations, distribution, setup, and tracking - Conduct monthly and quarterly forecast accumulation and rollup - Prepare actual versus forecast & quota analysis and reporting - Liaison for modifications and data analysis through Siebel and other IT systems• Financial/Accounting Support - Conduct ongoing analysis of actual results compared to plan - Prepare entries and close the books - Prepare monthly departmental expense reports• Field / Channel Support - Conduct monthly and quarterly field spending analysis. - Provide field territory assessment and realignment.  Provide on-going support for ad-hoc requests for zip code cross reference mappings. - Provide financial modeling support for channel investments• Compensation - Liaison with Sales Compensation on Field and Channel compensation design - Provide financial modeling and administration support for sales incentive programs - Integrate compensation performance with broader productivity scorecards• Pricing and Contracting - Track and administer rebate and other distribution payment requests based on contractual obligations and opportunity related agreements - Provide pricing support through sales analysis by running ad-hoc queries and running monthly reports  Basic Qualifications • Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills • General business understanding, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Computer skills utilizing advanced Excel and a strong background and understanding of query and reporting tools. • Understanding of accounting  Physio-Control (a division of Medtronic) has an excellent benefit package that includes: industry competitive compensation with the potential for annual bonus, 17 days paid time off accrued each year, nine paid holidays, a competitive 401k, and health benefits from the employees first day. APPLY DIRECTLY AT MEDTRONIC, INC.: http://careers.peopleclick.com/careerscp/client_medtronic/external/gateway.do?functionName=viewFromLink&jobPostId=102326&localeCode=en-us   To Apply: Click Apply Now to route your resume directly to the hiring department.
