Senior Internal Auditor

Pentagon Federal Credit Union is an $8 billion full service credit union with a strong track record of steady growth, safety and soundness since our founding in 1935.  We serve nearly 700,000 members of the Army, Air Force, Coast Guard, VFW, Dept of Defense, Dept of Homeland Security personnel, their families and many others around the world.

 

We have an immediate opening for a senior internal auditor to conduct assigned audits and reviews of organizational and functional activities of the credit union.  The senior internal auditor interacts with management to communicate audit findings and recommendations, and assists with special projects. 

 

Position requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (Accounting, Finance or Business preferred) with at least three years of related work experience, or Master's degree plus 2 years of experience, required

 CPA, CIA, CISA or similar designation is preferred

 Strong aptitude for ad hoc data mining, extraction and analysis, preferably using IDEA, ACL or Access is a plus

Effective written and verbal communication skills required
