Job Summary

 

 

 

 

Responsible for leading individual audit projects and for testing assigned audit areas and sub-processes. Applies accounting knowledge and auditing skills to assess business operations, processes and controls. May serve as the audit lead that is responsible for planning and executing audits related to a variety of business activities, processes and operations and performs broad and comprehensive analysis to identify business risks, determine potential audit objectives and resource requirements, and develops audit programs to evaluate internal controls related to financial risks, operational activities, and compliance requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities (in descending order of importance)

 Effectively employ a broad range of tools to maximize audit efficiency and effectiveness, including data analysis tools such as ACL, Access, Excel, Visio, etc.Audit Lead: Effectively plans audit work, supervises the work assigned team members (when applicable), and proposes adjustment to the audit plan or program as needed during the audit. Responsible for developing and administering project schedule to meet requirements and deliverables. Performs and documents testing results and audit conclusions in accordance with professional standards (Professional Practice Framework of the IIA, GAAS, ISACA, and GAAP). Prioritize audit issues based on significance and impact and collaborates with management to develop practical and cost effective action plans.  Often serves in supporting role on the audit team, when not designated as the audit lead
