Senior Internal Auditor - Western 'burbs

Our client seeks an experienced internal auditor to work in a high-energy corporate enviornment. This associate leads and participates in bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.You will identify and evaluate risk and work closely with management to establish appropriate plans of action.

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related field. -  5+ years Financial Accounting and/or Auditing experience, preferably in public accounting or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.-  Advanced knowledge of auditing and fraud investigations. Advanced understanding of operational, financial and regulatory risks and risk mitigation. Actively shares knowledge and understanding with others. Successfully completes 40 hours of CPE per year.-  Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, oral and written communication, presentation skills and the ability to work in a changing environment. Offers creative ideas to change and improve efficiency and effectiveness of processes. Ability to multi-task. Team player. Ability to be flexible with work hours to meet deadlines as necessary.
