Senior Finance and Accounting Consulting Practice Leader

AccountAbilities, Inc. is looking for a key senior level individual to help lead its new finance and accounting consulting services division, CPA Network Professionals.  As a leader in AccountAbilities CPA Network Professionals group you will be responsible for assisting a range of different clients with their project based finance and accounting needs. 

AccountAbilities, Inc. provides a full spectrum of non-audit related finance and accounting services, as well as commercial staffing, to middle market companies nationwide.  Consulting services include technical accounting advisory, financial statement and 10-K and 10-Q preparation, transaction services (M&A, capital raises, etc.), audit preparation, internal audit and SARBOX, among others.  AccountAbilities differentiates itself from other finance and accounting service providers through its unique co-sourcing relationships with some of the largest regional CPA firms in the country where in they function as our technical resource backbone for our most complex engagements. 

You will be responsible for building our Southern California based consulting practice and leveraging our CPA firm relationships as a source of leads, as well as overseeing client deliverables and consulting staff.  The ideal individual will be entrepreneurial, a CPA, have been a manager or partner in a large public accounting or consulting firm handling SEC clientele, and have held a relevant senior level position in a mid-tier to large public company.  This individual will enjoy exposure to a national client base of dynamic growing companies and be at the forefront of some of the hottest technical accounting and finance issues, while leveraging the relationships of some of the most respected CPA firms in the country.Requirements ·  CPA license·Ability to oversee multiple engagements ·Public and Private industry experience a plus·  Former Manager level public accounting experience auditing SEC clients a plus·  Technical accounting research ·   SEC filings review and preparation·   Staff supervision·   Client acquisition and development ·   M&A Compensation for the right individual will include a competitive base salary, profit sharing with tremendous upside potential as well as equity.
