Senior Manager of Accounting

Contour Design Inc. is the innovative leader in the TechnologyProtective Case Business as well as the Ergonomic Computer Input Device arena .  We are looking for an experienced, energetic, self-starter to forecast and analyze thefinancial activity required to effectively manage this dynamic  growth company. 

 

Established over twelve years ago, ContourDesign introduced a portfolio of protective plastic and fabric cases used toprotect valuable technology hardware, such as cell phones, iPods and laptopcomputers.  Additionally, Contourproduces computer mice and mice alternatives that actually reduce and eliminatethe pain caused by Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Repetitive Stress Injuries. These products are a phenomenal success in boththe United States and European markets. With the development and imminent introduction of several new products,we are positioned for explosive future growth.

 

This job is based in Windham, NH. 

 

A successful candidate will have five toseven years of broad based managerial accounting and financial planning,preferably  supporting a rapidly growingmanufacturing firm. This position is the financial watchdog for the firm,reporting directly to “C” level leaders and the company founder.  This position requires expertise in a broadrange of financial disciplines that support and guide both operational tacticsand results as well as future strategic planning.

 

Other successful attributes include:

  · Strong Sales Forecasting and Budgeting experience. · Ability to create and maintain a portfolio of concise and beneficial Executive Level financial analysis reports. · Assertive and Positive Attitude with confidence to render strong guidance for all facets of financial control. · Domestic and International taxation expertise a must! · Understanding foreign currency management is crucial. · Timely analysis and control of Working Capital and cash management is very important. · Self-starter who is comfortable with manageable risk, but has strong ethical approach. · Full-time availability. · Ability to lead fine detailed budget building, working in close cooperation with business operators to ensure that strong financial planning and results analysis are interwoven into daily operations.  Ability to instill and communicate “low cost operator” mindset to all levels of the organization is a must.  Instilling company-wide need to understand ROIs, DPP and IRR. Need to be able to be both a strategic planner and an ongoing operational financial scorekeeper.

This Successful Financial Leader will be able to use theirexpertise and make a strong, positive impact upon our corporate-wide financialunderstanding and control.  As with mostgrowth companies, this multi-tasking financial leader needs to have a broadbased generalist understanding of the full financial picture, while able toprovide detailed guidance in many financial specialty areas (e.g. cashmanagement, taxation, budget forecasting and variance analysis).
