Senior Manager of Financial Reporting - LB, CA

The position will be primarily responsible for all internal and external reporting requirements. This includes all internal financial statements and analysis and SEC reporting required. In addition, this position will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of an ERP solution as well as the implementation of a BI (business intelligence) solution.   Interface with sales, marketing, R&D, operations and finance in order to gain an understanding of the business which will allow for better performance in conceptualizing and compiling analyses to assist in measuring and benchmarking the Company Manage and develop a staff of three individuals; Lead and monitor the preparation of the monthly internal reporting packages to the Executive Team and Board of Directors; Lead and monitor the preparation, drafting, tie down and coordination of the Company’s external filings with the SEC. the disclosures required in the external financial statement filings, Ensure all internal and external reporting complies with GAAP and is accurate and timely; Assist in the documentation and continuous review of financial reporting processes and controls in relation to the Sarbanes Oxley 302 and Section 404 efforts Education and/or Experience BS Degree in Accounting and CPA. 3+ years experience in public accounting, preferably from the Big 4 and 5+ years experience in private industry in a financial reporting/analysis related position.
