Senior Operations Analyst

Position Summary:

Financial and operational analysis, short and long term forecasting, participates in the annual budgeting process, liaison between field operations and accounting department.

 

 

Responsibilities:Performs analysis of COGS (cost of goods sold) at cafesDevelop annual budget for COGSCreate new store proformas in conjunction with the real estate departmentAnalysis of weekly/monthly COGS variances (actual vs. forecast vs. budget)Assist operations services and food and beverage in costing of new menu itemsReports on inventory levels and fluctuations between periodsPerform various ROI analysis on new cafes and other capital expendituresAssists operations in forecasting P&Ls.Performs ad hoc analysis as assigned by the Operations Controller  

Requirements:

· Exceptional problem solving, communication, adaptability, and interpersonal skills necessary. 

· Retail experience preferred

· Technically proficient (MS Office Suite)


 Qualifications:A minimum of 2-4 years solid financial analysis experience. A proven record of accomplishments in the area of financial analysis and systems is required.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. Exceptional track record in consistently leading and driving a team to deliver results.Field travel not required to perform duties, but travel may occur occasionally for P&L reviews or specific field analysis as determined by the Operations Controller.
